LoveTrip – Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the LoveTrip mobile app for iOS and Android (bundle ID com.neptechpal.lovetrip) handles your information. LoveTrip is published by Bisai Technologies on Google Play and by Bibek Acharya on the Apple App Store (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are responsible (the “controller”) for the personal information processed through the app as described below. You can use LoveTrip without an account; the app never asks for your name, email address or phone number. Questions or requests: aiphotocraft@gmail.com.

1. The Short Version

  • No account, no login. We do not collect your name or email address in the app.
  • Your photos stay on your phone. The two couple photos you add, the trip photos you create, your “passport” stamps and your settings are stored only on your device.
  • Photos leave your phone only when you create a trip. Then the two partner photos (resized, with location and other photo metadata removed) and the destination photo are sent over an encrypted connection to our own AI servers in Germany (EU) to make your trip photo.
  • We do not keep your uploaded photos. They are processed in memory and not stored. The finished trip photo is kept on our storage only so the app can download it: the app asks for it to be deleted after 24 hours, and it is deleted automatically within 7 days at the latest.
  • Faces are never used to identify anyone. Faces are detected only for a moment to place them into the destination photo. We do not store face templates or any other biometric identifiers.
  • Never used for training, never sold. Your photos are never used to train AI models, never sold and never used for advertising.
  • Ads only in the free version. Free users see ads from Google AdMob (with Meta Audience Network). You decide whether your advertising ID may be used. LoveTrip PRO subscribers see no ads.
  • Delete everything at any time with Settings › Delete all my data, or by deleting the app.

2. What LoveTrip Does

LoveTrip creates AI couple travel photos. You add one photo of each partner, choose a destination such as Paris or Santorini, and our AI places both faces into an AI-generated photo of a couple at that destination. Every result is an AI-generated image, not a real photograph.

3. Information We Process

3.1 Information stored only on your device

  • the two couple photos you add;
  • the trip photos you create;
  • your “passport” stamps from the trips you have created;
  • your app settings and choices (for example language and your consent choices).

This information is not sent to us, except for the photos uploaded when you create a trip (3.2). It is removed when you use Settings › Delete all my data or when you delete the app. Withdrawing your AI photo consent also removes your couple photos (section 5). Copies you have saved to your photo library or shared with others are outside the app and are not affected.

3.2 Photos you send to create a trip

Only when you create a trip, and only after you have given consent (section 5), the app uploads:

  • the two partner photos, first resized on your device to no more than 1280 pixels and stripped of EXIF metadata, including GPS location; and
  • the destination template, an AI-generated photo of a couple at the destination you chose.

3.3 Face data

To create your trip photo, our AI detects the faces in your photos and in the destination photo, only for the short time needed to place your faces into that one image. We do not create or store face templates, face prints or any other biometric identifiers, and we never use faces to recognise or identify anyone.

3.4 Generated trip photos (results)

The finished image is stored temporarily on our AI server (taiapi.aiphotocraft.com) so the app can download it, then deleted automatically (section 10). Once downloaded, it is kept in the app on your device.

3.5 Subscription and purchase information

LoveTrip PRO is offered as weekly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment; we never see your payment card details. RevenueCat tells the app whether you have an active subscription, using a random, anonymous app user ID and your purchase history (no name or email address). You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

3.6 Advertising data (free version only)

The ad services in the free version (Google AdMob with Meta Audience Network bidding) may collect device identifiers (your advertising ID only with your permission, see section 9), your IP address and an approximate (coarse) location derived from it, and data about the ads you see and interact with, under their own privacy policies. Your photos are never shared with them.

3.7 Connection information

When the app connects to our servers or to Cloudflare (to upload photos, download destination images or download results), those servers receive your IP address and standard technical information about the request, as with any internet connection. We use it only to deliver the service and to keep it secure.

3.8 Reports and support messages

If you tap Report on a result, use Settings › Report a problem or contact support, your email app opens a message to aiphotocraft@gmail.com. We receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

3.9 What we do not collect

  • No account, name, email address or phone number in the app.
  • No analytics SDK.
  • No push notifications.
  • No location permission (and GPS data is removed from your photos before upload).
  • No access to your contacts.

4. Device Permissions

  • Camera – only to take a partner photo, when you choose to.
  • Photo library – only to pick the partner photos you choose.
  • Save to Photos – add-only access, used to save trip photos to your library when you tap Save. It does not let the app read your library.
  • Tracking (iOS only) – Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt for ads, see section 9.

You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

5. Your Consent to AI Photo Processing

Before you add any photo, LoveTrip shows a one-time screen explaining what happens to your photos and asks for your agreement. Without it, you cannot add photos or create trip photos.

You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings › AI photo processing. Withdrawing stops any new uploads and deletes the couple photos stored on your device. It does not affect processing that already took place; any result still on our storage is deleted automatically as described in section 10.

6. How AI Processing Works, Step by Step

  1. On your device: the two partner photos are resized to no more than 1280 pixels and their EXIF/GPS metadata is removed.
  2. Secure upload: the partner photos and the destination template are sent over HTTPS to our AI backend at taiapi.aiphotocraft.com, which runs on our own servers hosted by Hetzner in Germany (EU).
  3. AI processing: the face-swap AI runs on our own servers. Faces are detected only transiently to place them into the destination photo. Some processing may use Google Cloud or Cloudflare AI services, which act as our sub-processors.
  4. Safety check: an automated check screens the photos and the result for explicit content. If something is flagged, the trip photo is not created.
  5. No storage of inputs: your partner photos are processed in memory and not stored after processing.
  6. Delivery: the result image is stored temporarily on our AI server (taiapi.aiphotocraft.com, Hetzner, Germany) so the app can download it. The app requests 24-hour retention, and results are deleted automatically within 7 days at the latest.

Your photos are never used to train AI models, never sold and never used for advertising or profiling.

7. Why We Use Information and Our Legal Bases

The legal bases below apply if you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

  • Creating your trip photos – information: partner photos, destination photo, transient face data. Legal basis: your consent (to the extent face data is sensitive data, your explicit consent); you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Safety screening for explicit content and preventing misuse – information: uploaded photos and results. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and lawful.
  • Delivering results and running our servers securely – information: results, IP address and connection information. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (providing the app) and our legitimate interest in security.
  • Subscriptions – information: anonymous app user ID, purchase information. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Personalised ads (free version) – information: advertising ID, ad data. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Non-personalised ads (free version) – information: ad data without your advertising ID. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in funding the free version, and your consent where the law requires it (collected through Google’s consent form).
  • Answering reports and support requests – information: your email address and message. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you and acting on reports.
  • Meeting legal obligations – information: as required. Legal basis: legal obligation.

8. Who Receives Information

We share information only with the service providers we need to run LoveTrip, each for the purpose stated:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) – hosts our AI servers. Data: partner photos and destination photo while being processed; result images until deleted (within 7 days); IP address. Privacy policy
  • Cloudflare, Inc. – R2 storage and global content delivery network for the destination (template) images; some AI processing. Data: photos when a Cloudflare AI service is used; IP address. Privacy policy
  • Google Cloud – some AI processing. Data: photos submitted for processing. Data processing terms
  • RevenueCat, Inc. – subscription status. Data: anonymous app user ID, purchase history. Privacy policy
  • Apple and Google – App Store / Google Play distribution and payments. Data: purchase and payment information, under their own policies. Apple · Google
  • Google AdMob – ads for free users. Data: device identifiers (advertising ID only with permission), IP address and coarse location, ad interaction data. Privacy policy · How Google uses data from apps
  • Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms) – bids to show ads through AdMob. Data: device identifiers (advertising ID only with permission), IP address and coarse location, ad interaction data. Privacy policy

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example to comply with a valid legal request. We do not sell your photos or any personal information for money, and we never share your photos with advertisers.

9. Advertising and Your Ad Choices

  • Who sees ads: only users of the free version. LoveTrip PRO subscribers see no ads.
  • iOS – App Tracking Transparency: the app shows Apple’s tracking prompt. Your advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you tap Allow. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
  • Android – advertising ID: the advertising ID is used according to your consent choices and your device settings. You can reset or delete it at any time in your Android settings (Google › Ads or Privacy › Ads, depending on your device).
  • Google consent form: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform) asks for your choices before personalised ads are shown. Where US state privacy laws apply, Google’s US privacy message lets you opt out of personalised ads.
  • Change your choices later: where your region’s privacy rules require it, Settings › Privacy choices (ads) reopens the consent options.
  • If you do not allow tracking or personalised ads, you still see ads in the free version, but they are not personalised.
  • Google and Meta may collect device identifiers, IP-derived coarse location and ad interaction data under their own policies: Google, how Google uses data from apps that use its services, Meta.

10. How Long We Keep Information

  • Couple photos, trip photos, passport stamps and settings on your device: until you delete them, use Settings › Delete all my data, or delete the app. Withdrawing consent also deletes the couple photos.
  • Partner photos and destination photo uploaded for a trip: processed in memory and not stored after processing.
  • Face data: used only during processing; never stored.
  • Result images on our AI server: the app requests deletion after 24 hours; deleted automatically within 7 days at the latest.
  • Photos you saved to your library or shared: outside the app; you control them.
  • Purchase information: kept by RevenueCat, Apple and Google under their own policies and legal (for example tax) obligations.
  • Ad data: kept by Google and Meta under their own policies.
  • Connection information on our servers: only as long as needed to deliver the service and keep it secure.
  • Reports and support emails: as long as needed to handle your message and any follow-up.

11. How We Protect Information

  • All uploads and downloads use encrypted HTTPS connections.
  • Photos are resized and their EXIF/GPS metadata removed on your device before upload.
  • Uploaded photos are processed in memory and not stored; results are deleted automatically.
  • There are no user accounts, so we hold no profile of you.
  • Access to our servers is restricted to authorised personnel.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but limiting what we collect and how long we keep it is our main protection.

12. International Data Transfers

Our AI servers are in the EU (Germany, hosted by Hetzner). Cloudflare runs a global network, so destination images may be stored in or pass through data centres in other countries, usually close to you. Google Cloud, Cloudflare AI services, RevenueCat, Apple, Google and Meta may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, these providers rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions).

13. Your Rights and Choices

In the app

  • Settings › Delete all my data – removes your couple photos, trips and passport from the device.
  • Delete individual trip photos inside the app.
  • Settings › AI photo processing – withdraw consent (also deletes your couple photos).
  • Settings › Privacy choices (ads) – change ad consent, where shown for your region.
  • iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Android: reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings.
  • Subscribe to LoveTrip PRO to remove ads.
  • Delete the app to remove all LoveTrip data from your device.

By email

You can also email aiphotocraft@gmail.com to access, correct or delete your data, or with any privacy question. Because LoveTrip has no accounts and we do not keep your uploaded photos, we usually hold no information we can link to you, and results are deleted automatically. We will tell you what we can find and act on your request. For purchase-related requests, please include your App Store or Google Play order ID. We may ask for information to verify a request. We reply within one month (GDPR) or 45 days (US state laws), or tell you if we need more time where the law allows it.

EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR and similar laws)

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing (including processing based on our legitimate interests), to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing that took place before). You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work or where you think an infringement occurred (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office; in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).

California and other US states (CCPA/CPRA and similar laws)

Categories of personal information processed in the last 12 months:

  • Identifiers – IP address, an anonymous app user ID (purchases) and, only with your permission or consent, your advertising ID.
  • Commercial information – subscription status and purchase history.
  • Internet or other network activity – ad interaction data collected by the ad services in the free version.
  • Approximate geolocation – coarse location derived from your IP address by the ad services (we never request precise location).
  • Visual information – the photos you submit, processed only to create your trip photo and not stored; results deleted within 7 days.

These come from you and your device. We use them only for the purposes in section 7 and disclose them only to the recipients in section 8.

Sensitive personal information. We do not use face data to identify anyone, and we use your photos only to provide the feature you ask for. We do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit its use.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. In the free version, the ad services (Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network) may collect identifiers and ad interaction data to show personalised ads. Under California law this may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising (and under some other states’ laws as a “sale” or “targeted advertising”). Your photos are never part of this. You can opt out by:

  • using Settings › Privacy choices (ads) where it is shown;
  • choosing “Ask App Not to Track” in the iOS tracking prompt (or turning tracking off in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking);
  • deleting or resetting your advertising ID in Android settings; or
  • subscribing to LoveTrip PRO, which removes ads.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your rights. Depending on your state, you have the right to know and access the personal information we hold about you, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can send a request yourself or through an authorised agent to aiphotocraft@gmail.com; we may need to verify the request. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer; if you are not satisfied with the outcome of the appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.

14. Responsible Use, AI-Generated Content and Reporting

  • Only upload photos of yourself and of people who have agreed to it.
  • Never upload photos of minors (anyone under 18).
  • LoveTrip is intended for adults (18+).
  • All trip photos are AI-generated, not real photographs. Do not present them as real, and do not use them to deceive, harass or impersonate anyone.
  • Report a result: every result has a Report button that opens an email to aiphotocraft@gmail.com. You can also use Settings › Report a problem. We review reports and take appropriate action.
  • If you believe someone used your photo without your permission, email us. Because uploaded photos are not stored and results are deleted automatically from our storage, any remaining copies are on the user’s own device, but we will help where we can.

15. Children

LoveTrip is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, or that a photo of a minor was uploaded, contact us at aiphotocraft@gmail.com and we will delete any related information we hold.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know (for example, in the app) and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
